Leveraging more than two decades of experience as a financial officer in New York City, Robin Habacht collaborated with Paul DePetro, a property manager and director of engineering, to form Monticello Management, Inc. Originally, the two initiated negotiations to purchase an already-existing property management company that seemed to offer an exceptional opportunity. When these negotiations failed, however, Robin Habacht had already gained two clients. Thus she and Paul DePetro decided to pursue their proposed venture according to a different route: forming their own property management company, which they named Monticello Management.
Throughout the following years, Robin Habacht served as CFO and director of operations for the new company, quickly establishing it as a dedicated, full-service property management firm offering assistance in areas ranging from mediation to design consulting. Her focus on reaching out to clients in emergency situations led to the company’s promise of assistance seven days a week, 24 hours a day. That attention to customer service remains the first priority at Monticello Management, even as it grows and expands beyond New Jersey.
